The Magic of You - Johanna Lindsey Book Review


Back Again to the book review of Johanna Lindsey Mallory Series. This is the forth book from Mallory series by Johanna Lindsey. I already posted on the first, second, and third novel, and this one is my favorite. In this book tells about Warren Anderson an American sailor who is very bitter man. The female is Lady Amy Mallory a cunning girl, she always positive and have bright personality just opposite with Warren. They first met when Georgina Mallory (Warren’s sister) marry James Mallory (Amy’s Uncle) read their story on book 3 Gentle Rogue.

Amy feels love at the first sight at Warren. And she is definitely going to do something about it. Even their age gap is more than 20 years!! It will not stop her to try stealing Warren’s heart. The persuit start when Georgina have a daughter, Jacquiline Mallory. Warren and all Georgina’s brother come to England to visit her. When Amy get Warren alone she start her action. Poor Warren is not realize what come into him. He actually notice Amy but he feels Amy is too young.

When he first kiss Amy to disencourage her, Warren hearts is the one who burns. He no longer feels Amy too young. Her body is already have it curves and it definetily make his blood sings. The entire story is about Amy persuit on Warren. And how Warren resist Amy is priceless!! You should read it by yourself guys. I am not deatailing to review the stories because it will leave a lot of spoiler and reduce your surprise while reading this book.

This is one of my favorite in this series. Amy is strong girl, but even the strongest girl have to know when to stop dreaming for good. If it destine for you, never in million ways it will becomes others! Warren is dark man and he can’t move on from his past. I must give you warning Warren personality make me want to punch him a lot! And I do think he don’t deserve Amy, but who am I to judge anyway..



The Indonesian translation title “Keajaiban Hati” meaning in English “Magic hearts” suit this novel. I don’t really like Indonesian version cover though. This book is about how a girl doing the work on a relationship. And it absolutely well written. This book full of magic that you may not found in real worlds. Enjoy reading ^_^

Weekend Travel around NTU Campus

Today is a holiday. I explore place around the dorm in holiday. I like the architecture here. And I found a tiny area for children to play. The children can play happily here. In Taipei, most of the citizen living in apartment, they don't have their own garden. This public space for children is very useful. This is very nice. The child plays happily Even though I do a solo travelling but I feel safe because the neighbourhood is not crowded. My destination is Taipei Grand Mosque. I search on google map it is not far from the dorm. So I go there and planning to pray there. Taipei Grand Mosque It is not as big as I imagine considering Indonesia grand mosque is so big with 10 floor. The mosque only has 2 floors but it is clean and comfortable. I pretty impress because there are a lot of people in the mosque. Apparently, there is someone die. In Muslim rules if there is someone die then at least 40 people should pray for the corpse and wishing he has a pleasant...

Mount Qixing Taiwan

Today we will hike Mount Qixing. I am so excited because I only hike Mount Bromo before. When we arrived, first we se a very nice movie in a mini theater. I really like the animation and the movie help us understand about the volcano. The movie tell us about how volcano and eruption happen. After that we start to hike. There is Mr. Woody that from time to time stop to explain about some plants and bugs we encounter during our walk. I am the last one that coming. Thanks for Jack and Sinmin that help me a lot during the hiking. Even though I am so tired to hike I can’t help but put a wide smiley face when we take picture. It is actually a very nice experience because I don’t think I will do it if I am not join BACT. Eventhough my pace is very old lady like Jack and Sinmin always keep my motivation high.
