KFC Spicy Lime Review

Today is shopping day. I am going to Giant (dept store) to buy daily need. But before that I planned to buy KFC salted egg chicken. I was surprise that they no longer have that menu since a year ago. Huhuhu..  I don't buy KFC so often but I really like the salted egg sauce so this was heart breaking for me. The cashier sugest me to try this new menu instead, KFC Spicy Lime. I was wondering for a while because I can't handle spicy food. Yes, I like it but it also make me get stomachache. Sadly, I don't interested in other KFC menu. Finally I choose to order this new menu. He said this menu is out today, so I will be the first one to try. But, again he offer me to buy a combo package so if I only buy the chicken it cost me IDR 22.500 (tax include) but if order package I can get rice and cola for IDR 30.000 (without tax).  Sorry for bad pic, this is the poster Hmmm it makes me difficult to choose, so I said that I will gi shopping first and order later. When wand...

Taiwan's Oolong tea

Actually, I want to post this last week, but I was out of town and didn't have time to finish. FYI, I started writing this post three weeks ago, but I just finished it now. Tea is a famous commodity in Taiwan. I was glad that I had the opportunity to study Taiwan's tea. This class taught by Prof Kai-Hsien Chen a tea expert from Taiwan. He was not only giving a class about tea but he also brings his personal tea collection so we can try it! He gives us a clear explanation about tea, from the history of tea, tea production, and a lot of other things tea-related. I was enjoying the class, but I couldn't help my excitement watching the tea set and totally couldn't wait to taste it. He started boiling water when the class began, and by the end of his explanation, it already boiling. He lent us a unique teacup. its really nice white porcelain, in nice shape.  Yes, I taught it a little bit weird because the bigger cup is at the top. The tea is in the smaller cup...

Multatuli Museum, Banten

As my promise in the previous post, I will share my time traveling in Banten. We arrived at Multatuli Museum at 2 am with an empty stomach. So, before continuing our journey inside the museum, we decide to find something to eat. Multatuli Museum is on the same road as Rangkas Townsquare. We have lunch on the other side of the street. I really curious to try some local food in Rangkas. There quiet many food sellers but I only interested in trying something I have never had before.   The first one which catch my attention is Malingping ice. It is sweet ice with Aren sugar. Later that day when I was on the bus, the passenger beside me told me that Malingping actually the name of a village in Banten. The ice is surprisingly refreshing for me, because the color is dark brown. I don't like the jelly though. But the taste suit me, it not too sweet but you definitely can spot the Aren sugar flavor. It only cost me IDR 4.000 (IDR 14.000= 1 USD). My next goal is h...

Sultan Mosque in Singapore

My second time in Singapore was very brief. I only transit in Changi Airport for 12 hour but I determined to make the most of it. My friend Joshua recommend me to have a nice breakfast near Sultan Mosque. He knows I am muslim so he recommend restaurant that provided halal food. I had breakfast at Zam Zam restaurant, I order murtabak and eat with Sultan Mosque as my scenery and it was awesome!!! Actually Zam-Zam Restaurant is behind the mosque but the scenery is awesome and the murtabak is delicious. The best part of eating here is I don't need to worry whether or not the food is halal food because the owner is obviously muslim. I choose chicken murtabak and it had a big portion so it can be for 2-3 people.  I had breakfast and waiting Clara and Joshua. These two will take me to explore Singapore and playing tourist for the day and I will forever grateful for that because the best thing in experience traveling in someplace if you get to travel with local people. They k...
