KFC Spicy Lime Review

Today is shopping day. I am going to Giant (dept store) to buy daily need. But before that I planned to buy KFC salted egg chicken. I was surprise that they no longer have that menu since a year ago. Huhuhu.. 

I don't buy KFC so often but I really like the salted egg sauce so this was heart breaking for me. The cashier sugest me to try this new menu instead, KFC Spicy Lime. I was wondering for a while because I can't handle spicy food. Yes, I like it but it also make me get stomachache. Sadly, I don't interested in other KFC menu. Finally I choose to order this new menu. He said this menu is out today, so I will be the first one to try. But, again he offer me to buy a combo package so if I only buy the chicken it cost me IDR 22.500 (tax include) but if order package I can get rice and cola for IDR 30.000 (without tax).

Hmmm it makes me difficult to choose, so I said that I will gi shopping first and order later. When wandering inside Giant dept. store there was promo of mie sukses soto and I got to taste the sample. Thet not only giving a little but half full cup of noodle. It was generous serving for sample food. I like the taste of soto. It was their new menu, and they also give promotion to if I buy 5 I can choose a gift, and I fell for it. I bought 5 instant noodle (it was already at my shopping list) and I got water bottle for free! You can go to Giant Dramaga (Bogor)  if you want this promo. They will be there until march, first 2020.


After eat the sample I feel less hungry. So, when I get back to KFC I order the spicy lime chicken only without rice or drink. Seriously I only want to try the new menu, and their trick is to make me order more and more. So I stick to the plan and only try the chicken. I also brought water bottle so its okay eventhough I don't order drink. If we can avoid spending too much money, why not? ^_^


Look so yummy! Okay I will give positive and negative of this new menu based on my preference. Tge positive is the chicken so big and crispy, the sauce smell so good you can notice the lime easily. The negative for me it a taste too sweet. I am not a fan of sweet food so for me this one just so so. The aftertaste when I drink mineral water it feels a little bit bitter and because I eat with my hand now I can smell lime in my hand. The smell not dissapear after I was my hand with water. But, its okay to try and for me I probably will not buy it again. Please try this menu too and tell me what you think?

Weekend Travel around NTU Campus

Today is a holiday. I explore place around the dorm in holiday. I like the architecture here. And I found a tiny area for children to play. The children can play happily here. In Taipei, most of the citizen living in apartment, they don't have their own garden. This public space for children is very useful. This is very nice. The child plays happily Even though I do a solo travelling but I feel safe because the neighbourhood is not crowded. My destination is Taipei Grand Mosque. I search on google map it is not far from the dorm. So I go there and planning to pray there. Taipei Grand Mosque It is not as big as I imagine considering Indonesia grand mosque is so big with 10 floor. The mosque only has 2 floors but it is clean and comfortable. I pretty impress because there are a lot of people in the mosque. Apparently, there is someone die. In Muslim rules if there is someone die then at least 40 people should pray for the corpse and wishing he has a pleasant...

Mount Qixing Taiwan

Today we will hike Mount Qixing. I am so excited because I only hike Mount Bromo before. When we arrived, first we se a very nice movie in a mini theater. I really like the animation and the movie help us understand about the volcano. The movie tell us about how volcano and eruption happen. After that we start to hike. There is Mr. Woody that from time to time stop to explain about some plants and bugs we encounter during our walk. I am the last one that coming. Thanks for Jack and Sinmin that help me a lot during the hiking. Even though I am so tired to hike I can’t help but put a wide smiley face when we take picture. It is actually a very nice experience because I don’t think I will do it if I am not join BACT. Eventhough my pace is very old lady like Jack and Sinmin always keep my motivation high.
