I’m sorry for not posting for two weeks. I have things that
require a lot of my attention and energy. I also got connection problem.
Somehow when I want to post the WiFi signal is distracted. I wish you still
want to keep following my unimportant blog ^_^
Now, let’s talk about Pacific Rim Uprising. I watch this
movie last week with my housemate. I don’t watch the first movie “Pacific Rim”
and I was affraid I will not understand this movie. But actually I still get
the idea. I mean is okay if you don’t watch the first movie because the entire
story is different from the first movie, eventhough this is the second movie.
I was amazed by the effect. This is a serious action movie.
I give 9 from 10 for the effect!! Yes it is amazing. But the story is not deep,
the love story is suprficial and the friendship story is not really touching. I
don’t really think that the actor is good, they can not bring us to see the
emotion so we are not taken by story. For example when her sister died on the
plane when there is attack, the emotion of losing beloved sister is not there.
Even though this is not a super hero movie, this movie story
is about saving the world. It is supossed to be heoric. But the hero, who is
son of the hero on previous movie, is not having hero material. He tired on
being the shadow of his great father and becoming a bad person. But the turning
event on from “bad guy” to “good boy” is not dramatic so my impression on the
hero until the movie ends is he only lost kids who have no choice(not willingly)
other than becoming hero.
The only thing is good about this movie is the effect and it
makes this movie worth to watch. This is the end o my post. I will keep the new
post on next weekend. It is impossibe to post on weekday for me. Stay fabulous
