Singapore Free Tour

Last month I join summer program in National Taiwan University. Before going to Taiwan my plane transit in Singapore for more than 6 hours. I start to search what thing to do in Changi Airport. I surprised that they have Singapore free tour program that will take you to sightseeing around Singapore for about 3 hours.  I suppose everyone like “free” thing so I seek for the information how to join it. This post will tell you my impression on joining Singapore Free Tour when I transit in Singapore.

This is the ticket. The participant must gather around the free ticket booth one hour before the free tour. I stand in this beautiful garden while waiting.

After short wait they introduce us to our guide tour. She is a nice and very informative lady. We all going to a bus and we will visit Singapore icon Merlion and Gardens by The Bay today. After about 20 minute drive we arrived at Merlion park. There are a lot of people there doing a lot of thing. The park is clean and one thing that I learn is Singapore forbid chew gum.

I really wish that you all have the opportunity to visit Singapore too. Merlion is the icon of Singapore. It is a statue with lion head but mermaid body. I spent time by taking some picture and enjoying the view. It is beautifull there even when its crowded. I anticipated our next destination Gardens by The Bay. We will go there soon.

It is seriously beautifull and there are a lot of decorated tree too here.

I enjoy the scenery while listen to music. There are less crowded people here if I compare with Merion park but it probably because I come there in the afternoon. The light is beautifull and because I feel tired from the flight I choose to sit next to one decorated tree instead of explore this area so I will definitely explore more on my next visit to Singapore. Then we go back to Changi Airport.

This garden also inside the airport. I roaming around the airport, they not only have airport hotel but they also have some spot that can you use for sleeping while you waiting for your flight. The praying room also clean and peacefull. You can not sleep in the pray room, it may disturb the other who want to pray.

In my flight to Taiwan I order this cup noodle for SGD 5. I choose Tom Yum flavor because I love Tomyum. It is delicious and I enjoy the flight. I will tell more about my day in Taiwan in next post.

See you soon.. XOXO..

BACT Opening Ceremony

August last year I joined Summer School Programme in National Taiwan University, Taiwan. The programme name  was BACT (Biodiversity, Agriculture and Culture in Taiwan). I wanted to share my experience in Taiwan here with you all. The first day started with introduction and welcoming from BACT Lecturer. Every participant was seated in the bench with name tag on it. So I quickly scanned the room and searching for Rizky Trisna Putri name tag on the desk. This name tag on the table help us a lot to recognize all the participant name. I was so happy that I got a nice souvenir because I can guess who is the first inisiator of BACT. They gave us a very nice and soft cake. They also provided us with dairy product of NTU. I love milk so much. I prefer cow milk than soybean milk (They give us both). Nevertheless I like it all the snack that given to us. They give us a black bag and in the inside there are a lot of usefull thing like raincoat, cap, bug sprayer, note, guid...
