Normal Day at Taipei (Typhoon Preparation)

This post will continue to tell you my story when I was doing summer park at National Taiwan University (NTU). That day we suppose to go to Yeliu Geopark but the weather was not supporting. The forecast said there will be a typhoon, so we will find some other time to go. We get two lecturers instead for the morning section. They are the introduction of forests in Taiwan and River ecology. We supposed to have Chinese language class in the afternoon but it got canceled because of typhoon prediction. When I was looked at the sky that morning it already dark, but the wind was not too strong. I bought my breakfast at SevenEleven. My favorite breakfast when I was staying at Taipei is Rice ball and banana milk. It was not easy for me to find halal food in the morning in Taipei. It also quite a challenge for me to find products that not containing pork because the shopkeeper didn’t know English and I couldn't speak Chinese.. Luckily I got help from the student of NTU that also

Chicken Salted Egg (Eat n Play Cafe)

Hmm another blog post with my favorite sauce! Salted egg. In this post, I want to take you to Eat n Play cafe at Bogor. I usually visit this place at the weekend to play board games with board game community Kabogoh Bogor. Before I tell you more about my favorite menu in Eat n Play, I would like to tell you how I know this place first. In 2018 I was joining a summer course program at National Taiwan University. During the break or any other free time. We only play 2 boardgames Coup or Avalon, I didn't know why we never get bored of it >_< So after the program and I was going back to Indonesia, I searched the boardgame community at Bogor. I thought it may appear somehow if I searched it at Google. Voila! I found Kabogoh community. I quickly follow their social media (ig : @kabogoh_bgr). The admin said they will play that day in Eat n Play Cafe. So my friend and I go there to find out. They totally nice people, we played boardgame together. I play Concordia as my first

Multatuli Museum, Banten

As my promise in the previous post, I will share my time traveling in Banten. We arrived at Multatuli Museum at 2 am with an empty stomach. So, before continuing our journey inside the museum, we decide to find something to eat. Multatuli Museum is on the same road as Rangkas Townsquare. We have lunch on the other side of the street. I really curious to try some local food in Rangkas. There quiet many food sellers but I only interested in trying something I have never had before.   The first one which catch my attention is Malingping ice. It is sweet ice with Aren sugar. Later that day when I was on the bus, the passenger beside me told me that Malingping actually the name of a village in Banten. The ice is surprisingly refreshing for me, because the color is dark brown. I don't like the jelly though. But the taste suit me, it not too sweet but you definitely can spot the Aren sugar flavor. It only cost me IDR 4.000 (IDR 14.000= 1 USD). My next goal is huntin

Happy New Year 2020 !!!

Happy New Year 2020 blogger lovers.... Welcome to the first post in this beautiful year. I know everyone is enjoying the new year's holiday. Mine is spent traveling to my friend's house in Serang, Banten, Indonesia. It was a last-minute decision because actually I still struggling finishing my research. Anyway, instead of stressing myself, I choose to go when my friends invite me on a trip to Serang.  We use an online taxi to go from our meeting spot to the bus station. At first, our plan is going to Serang by train but the railway is flooded and the train can't go through. So, we go by bus from Bogor to Serang for IDR 40.000. After arrived at Serang we use an online taxi again to go to my friend's house. They give us a feast!!! We really happy non-stop eating and it was very delicious too! My friends roasted the chicken and fish while I prepare the sambal. Food always tastes better when you eat it together. We discuss where to go while eating food.
