Happy New Year 2020 !!!

Happy New Year 2020 blogger lovers....

Welcome to the first post in this beautiful year. I know everyone is enjoying the new year's holiday. Mine is spent traveling to my friend's house in Serang, Banten, Indonesia. It was a last-minute decision because actually I still struggling finishing my research. Anyway, instead of stressing myself, I choose to go when my friends invite me on a trip to Serang.

We use an online taxi to go from our meeting spot to the bus station. At first, our plan is going to Serang by train but the railway is flooded and the train can't go through. So, we go by bus from Bogor to Serang for IDR 40.000. After arrived at Serang we use an online taxi again to go to my friend's house. They give us a feast!!! We really happy non-stop eating and it was very delicious too!

My friends roasted the chicken and fish while I prepare the sambal. Food always tastes better when you eat it together. We discuss where to go while eating food. Actually, at Serang there are some tourism objects like Banten Lama historical site, Masjid Agung/ Grand Mosque, but we are not going there. We definitely traveling with a very open agenda. So it can be changed at the last minute. So that night we only considering option on where to go but not really give out the decision where to go.

The next morning I wake up still wondering where to go. Finally, after having breakfast with fried rice, rolade, and fried tempe, we made the decision to go to Multatuli Museum. Unfortunately, Multatuli Museum is not in Serang but it is located in Rangkas. We have to go there by train, but no worries the train ticket is cheap. It only cost us IDR 3.000 /person (IDR 14.000 = 1 USD). When we arrived at the train station at 9 am we just realize that the train to Rangkas will be leaving at 11 am. It waaaay to early for us to be there. We considered to go around first but have no idea where to go, moreover they sell the train ticket only 1 hour before its departure.

So yeah we end up waiting in front of the train station. It a little bit boring but I brought a book with me and read it while waiting. Finally, the wait is over and we can go inside the train station. the train ticket doesn't have a passenger seat number. But no worries, you will get the seat because they only sell the ticket according to the total seat on the train.

We arrived at Serang safely ^_^ We use angkot (minibus public transportation) to go to Multatuli Museum. It already pass our lunch time so we decide to have lunch first. Find out what I eat on my next post about food in Serang and I also will take you to Multatuli Museum.

See you on next post.. XOXO...

BACT Opening Ceremony

August last year I joined Summer School Programme in National Taiwan University, Taiwan. The programme name  was BACT (Biodiversity, Agriculture and Culture in Taiwan). I wanted to share my experience in Taiwan here with you all. The first day started with introduction and welcoming from BACT Lecturer. Every participant was seated in the bench with name tag on it. So I quickly scanned the room and searching for Rizky Trisna Putri name tag on the desk. This name tag on the table help us a lot to recognize all the participant name. I was so happy that I got a nice souvenir because I can guess who is the first inisiator of BACT. They gave us a very nice and soft cake. They also provided us with dairy product of NTU. I love milk so much. I prefer cow milk than soybean milk (They give us both). Nevertheless I like it all the snack that given to us. They give us a black bag and in the inside there are a lot of usefull thing like raincoat, cap, bug sprayer, note, guid...
