Picnic at Bogor Botanical Garden (Kebun Raya Bogor/KRB)

Last month my friends and I had a picnic in Bogor Botanical Garden. Before we go there we toast bread and make omelet because we will make a sandwich. We also brought cheese, mayonnaise, sauce, lettuce, cucumber, a  We didn't bring rice because it will be hard to find plate and spoon in KRB. So we made sandwich instead because easy to ate. The first thing we did when we arrived is found a spot to eat.

We search for an open area that has a nice view and have thick grass to sit. We walked in full speed because we all already hungry. But even though we were starving the first thing we do is to take a group picture after we sit.

Then we enjoy our sandwich and chat, joking around, basically doing nothing actually ^^ Even though we didn't eat rice we still feel full and ready to explore more of KRB. We took more group picture around the area and then going to a mosque to pray because it was already Dhuhur. After that, we feel a little bit sleepy after eating and praying. Moreover, there were a lot of big trees near the mosque. Trees made the weather chill and comfortable. We played Board game for a while.

After playing Board game my friends continue chatting. I felt very sleepy so I close my eyes instead. Soon my friend's voices were felt distance and I enter sleeping zone peacefully. It was very comfortable to sleep on the grass under a big tree on a sunny day. I was glad my friends let me sleep because after a while we will explore more of KRB walking.

Next, we went to the Zoology Museum that also located inside KRB. We so fascinated by the collection. Moreover, you can explore the museum for FREE!!! ^_^

After exploring the museum we going to look at Presidential Palace that also located inside KRB. In this Palace, the President of Republic Indonesia and his family lives. There were soldiers in this area that ensure palace safety. It was so beautiful place to live in. No wonder a lot of people want to be a president.

I will also give tips for anyone that want to go picnic in KRB :

1. You don't have to bring a plaited mat because in some spot the grass is thick enough to sit on.
2. It better to bring sandwich or bread for picnic. Avoid to bring rice because you will also need to bring plate, spoon, and other eating tools. KRB is garden so the toilet is so far it hard to clean the eating equipment if you bring rice.
3. If you want to bring sandwich, don't arrange it from your house because the water from tomatoes and cucumber will make the bread soft and wet. It better to prepare all the ingredient and arrange it all when you ready to eat it.
4. Put all the food in one place and you can carry it in turns with your friends.
5. Wear comfortable outfit.
6. Don't forget to bring umbrella and raincoat.
7. You can also use your raincoat to sit so your body is not directly touching the grass.

That was my story when picnic in KRB. I hope that this post is useful to you. Comment if you want to know more or you have a place in Bogor that you want me to write about.

See you on next post.. XOXO..

Weekend Travel around NTU Campus

Today is a holiday. I explore place around the dorm in holiday. I like the architecture here. And I found a tiny area for children to play. The children can play happily here. In Taipei, most of the citizen living in apartment, they don't have their own garden. This public space for children is very useful. This is very nice. The child plays happily Even though I do a solo travelling but I feel safe because the neighbourhood is not crowded. My destination is Taipei Grand Mosque. I search on google map it is not far from the dorm. So I go there and planning to pray there. Taipei Grand Mosque It is not as big as I imagine considering Indonesia grand mosque is so big with 10 floor. The mosque only has 2 floors but it is clean and comfortable. I pretty impress because there are a lot of people in the mosque. Apparently, there is someone die. In Muslim rules if there is someone die then at least 40 people should pray for the corpse and wishing he has a pleasant

Shung Ye Museum and Taiwan's National Palace Museum

Back to my story while I was in Taiwan joining BACT NTU. That day July 14th 2018 we went to National Palace Museum, but first we were coming to Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigin. It located very near from National Palace Museum, only 5 minute walking. We use city bus to go there. This is my first time using bus in Taiwan. I like to ride the bus. It is clean and comfortable, I sit with Sarah and she said she also like to use public transportation.  Inside Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigin We have guided tour here. The tour guide is very good on explaining the content of the museum. First she take us to look around in th first floor. The first floor is about people and natural environment of Taiwan. An introduction to environment inhabited by Taiwan indigenous people is displayed. The interpretation of the aborigin people is displayed in an informative board. There is a Yami (Tao) fishing boat representing the maritime environment. The most interesting part in the firs
